María Gracia de Pedro is a Madrid-based cultural strategist, founder, and researcher working at the intersection of art, talent, and international cultural ecosystems. With professional experience across Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom, her practice is inherently global, combining academic research with applied industry knowledge.

She holds a Ph.D. with honours focused on emerging artists and market development strategies, alongside advanced training in business, art market, leadership, and sustainability from institutions including Deusto Business School, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, New York University (NYU), and University of Cambridge. Her academic and professional trajectory reflects a consistent focus on bridging structural gaps between artistic practice and professional sustainability.

She is the founder and CEO of Artepreneur, the first human resources consultancy in Spain dedicated exclusively to the art and cultural sector, with an international scope spanning Europe, the GCC, and the Americas. Through Artepreneur, she works closely with institutions, galleries, and cultural organizations to strengthen talent ecosystems, improve working conditions, and foster more sustainable career pathways within the arts.

In parallel, she is a founding patron of Badr El Jundi Foundation, supporting socially engaged artistic practices, and a lecturer in Contemporary Art Market at universities and art schools, contributing to the next generation of cultural professionals.

Her previous roles include leadership positions such as Director at Badr El Jundi Gallery (2020-2024), Director & Head of Growth at JosédelaFuente (2017-2020), and international coordination roles across residencies, galleries, and editorial platforms. This multidisciplinary background provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the cultural sector—from creation and production to market dynamics and institutional frameworks.

María is an active member of international networks including the Gallery Climate Coalition, MAV, and AWITA, reinforcing her commitment to sustainability, equity, and systemic transformation within the arts.

Her work is driven by a clear objective: to professionalize and internationalize the cultural sector by connecting talent, knowledge, and opportunity across borders.

Maria is member of Galley Climate Coalition – GCC (and she was Founding member of the Spanish GCC), MAV and Awita.
